The inspiration for Miriam’s landscape painting is an emotional response to her environment. She works expressively in acrylic paint with palette knives, plastic cards, sponges, and large brushes, to produce some semi abstract compositions, with the occasional use of collage.

Natural Forms

These mixed media images represent Miriam’s passion for natural forms; the paintings evolve from observational drawing and develop into semi abstract compositions using mixed media painting techniques.
